Annual Sculpture Festival

Friday 7th – Tuesday 25th April

Acheron – central Victoria – near Alexandra

This exciting artistic event showcases sculpture in the historic rural garden at Rennies at Acheron, 132 Breakaway Road, Acheron.

The exhibition dates are from Good Friday, 7th April to Tuesday, 11th April 2023 and the Anzac Day Long Weekend from Saturday, 22nd April to Tuesday, 25th April 2023. A cocktail party on Easter Thursday, 6th April at 5.00pm, will open the event.

The exhibition is a journey through landscape and nature  and the inherent profoundness, quirkiness, characters, as well as the emotion and celebration of all that inspires.

This exhibition has become an annual event and with the ambition to encourage established and emerging artists and sculptors from across Australia and further afield to display their works and engage with other artists and a diverse, interested community. This event provides a unique opportunity to exhibit work in a renowned garden, surrounded by extensive farm and bushland along the Goulburn River in central Victoria.

The exhibition will be open to the public each of the nominated days and at other times by arrangement with the management committee. A licensed restaurant/café will operate concurrently throughout the duration of the exhibition. An Artisan Alley consisting of arts, crafts and bespoke local produce in individual marquees will also be featured in a designated area of the gardens.
